Carey Taylor
Communications and Engagement Manager
Carey has worked in communications and marketing for 17 years, predominantly in the public sector. Her roles have spanned strategic communications for a borough council to digital marketing for a university. She has also worked as a freelance copywriter producing content for a range of clients in the private and public sector.
Having been at HSSIB since April 2017, she has taken her skills and transferred them into her first role within healthcare and the NHS. As Communications and Engagement Manager, she works and leads on strategic communications planning, media relations, internal communications and stakeholder engagement. She works closely with colleagues to raise awareness of the Health Service Safety Investigations Body’s work.
Carey is proud to be part of an independent organisation that has patient safety at its core. She aims to ensure all communications are inclusive, accessible and impactful.
