Abi Holmes

Abi joined the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) in October 2026.

She has over 15 years’ experience in learning design and programme leadership, creating digital and blended learning for both public sector and commercial organisations. Her career began managing government funded apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes, before moving into digital learning.

Abi specialises in working with subject matter experts, shaping their knowledge into learning that people can apply in their own work, with significant experience of sensitive subjects across health and social care.

Her approach to learning design is human-centred, with a particular interest in accessibility and inclusive design.
