

Stephen will provide strategic leadership and oversee our Business Services function, which covers finance, IT, governance, HR, procurement and business management. This is a critical role within the senior leadership team and as a member of the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) Board.

Stephen says: “I look forward to becoming a permanent member of staff at HSSIB and building on the progress that the Business Services team has already made since the organisation launched. It’s an exciting time to join as we push forward with implementing the new organisational strategy and continue to support the delivery of high-quality patient safety investigations and in-demand education courses.”
Throughout his career, Stephen has held key finance positions at several prominent NHS organisations, including the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Islington Primary Care Trust, NHS London Strategic Health Authority, NHS Enfield Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board. His experience across these bodies has equipped him with a strong understanding of NHS finance, strategic planning and financial governance.
