Suraj Theeng

A fully qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Suraj joined the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) in November 2025.

He has over 17 years’ experience in NHS finance, plus more in the private sector as an internal auditor and in customer facing roles. His NHS career has spanned specialised commissioning, a clinical commissioning group, integrated care board, provider trusts and NHS England London region. His most recent previous role was Deputy Head of Financial Control at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. From production of annual accounts, charity accounting and planning to team management and restructure of services, these varied roles have allowed him to see many aspects of accounting.

Suraj is always focused on supporting effective, efficient and economical financial decision-making.
