Minal Patel
Head of Strategy, Policy and Engagement
Minal has worked for the NHS since 2004. Her NHS career started as an allied health professional, where she was also the patient and public involvement lead for the department she worked in. Since then she has primarily worked in health communications, strategy, engagement and policy making.
Her previous roles have provided her with experience within a range of healthcare settings including NHS England, commissioning, providers and academia. She brings with her strategy/policy, strategic communications and engagement expertise.
She has a master’s in Health Policy from Imperial College London and has completed the Executive Strategy programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Minal has a particular interest in health inequalities and equality, diversity and inclusion.
